Winlift Solutions conduct inspections of lifting equipment to ensure it meets safety standards and regulations like LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations). These inspections involve a detailed examination of equipment for any defects or wear and tear that could compromise safety. We provide full certification on completing of the examination and notify you of any equipment that requires quarantine.
What is the required LOLER inspection frequency?
- 6 months for lifting equipment and any associated accessories used to lift people
- 6 months for all lifting accessories
- 12 months for all other lifting equipment
- In addition, equipment should be checked before being used for the first time, and after assembly and before use at each location (for equipment that requires assembly before use).
