Inspection Frequency

To comply with LOLER, lifting equipment and accessories must be inspected at regular intervals:
  • Every 6 months – for all lifting accessories
  • Every 6 months – for equipment used to lift people
  • Every 12 months – for all other lifting equipment

Inspections are also required:

  • Before first use
  • After assembly and before use at each location (for mobile or reassembled equipment)
